Good Boy is a romantic comedy novel. It is the first chapter in the WAG’s novel series. The book is written by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy. Sarina and Elle are known for writing steamy hot contemporary romance novels and one such novel by them is HIM. Another good novel that Sarina wrote by herself is The New Guy. The audio narration of Good Boy is done by Teddy Hamilton and Tanya Eby. Nearly 80% of the book is narrated by the female narrator, and she doesn’t fit well with the story and the characters. The male narrator for his 20% part was good though.
Hosting the wedding od his brother for an MVP guest list was a big challenge in the life of Jess Canning. The family was already screwed-up and she just couldn’t afford to fail at all. There wasn’t anybody who could learn about the colossal mistake that she made with the best man during a very weak moment. That happened last spring and it was wrong. Moreover, there wouldn’t be a repeat of that, even if he has the sexiest thing over his two legs.
Blake Riley saw the wedding as a gift of fate to him. Jess was the maid of honor and he was the best man, right? Let the game begin and so what if he was facing some resistance? All he needed to do was to convince the arrogant blonde that he was a good boy but with a bad repo.
Good Boy tells a fantastic story along with good characters. The narration was not up to the mark, especially by the female narrator. Still, the book is recommended.
