Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt made a great combo for narrating this novel. Zachary took most of the listeners by surprise with such a strong performance. He was very creative and funny with his voices. The projection of expression by both was simply outstanding. Garret Daniels, the charismatic and cocky former high school star is now a top-notch football coach. He is platinum is his hometown and not just the golden boy. He has a great house by the lake and some good friends as well.
Then Callie Carpenter comes to the scene. She had a very sweet life. But circumstances changed everything. She is back home to help her struggling parents. She is also a substitute teacher at the same old high school. When Garret offered Callie to show her the top secrets of the winning teacher’s methods, Callie took no moment to jump on the chance. They could always be good friends. They might just be schooled hard and that too by love.
The story of Getting Schooled is romantic and funny at the same time. It is a make you feel good kind of a novel. You will laugh out loud at times and then there will be some emotional moments too.
