Fused in Fire

Fused in Fire is a paranormal romance and urban fantasy novel authored by K. F. Breene. It is the third book of the Demon Days, Vampire Nights, and the third book of the Fire and Ice series. It is the jaw-dropping conclusion to the Fire and Ice Trilogy. Besides that, Breene is a USA Today, Amazon Charts, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post bestseller of paranormal romance and fantasy novels. If you’re interested in other works of her, consider Born in Fire. Also, read Magical Midlife Invasion.

Nicole Poole is the narrator of this audiobook. She is pretty solid while delivering the lines. She portrayed the characters nicely and did them justice.

They thought the threat from Seattle was finished; they thought they had shown up and taken care of business; they were wrong.

We are once again introduced to Reagan, an unconventional heroine with a dry sense of humor and an attitude shifting towards violence to manage emotional situations. She hates being wrong and it ruins her day.

Hard decisions have to be made when the alpha of the North American pack, Roger, shows up at Reagan’s door with news that a demon has arrived from the Underworld. He has knowledge of her. Does she stay above the ground and wait for the fight to come to her? Or does she go on the offensive and remove the demon before it can even pose a threat?

This is a satisfying conclusion to the series, even though this can be considered a weak story compared to the other books. There is a lot of detail on the sex scenes and the minor characters. At some point, we want to get in the center of the action.
