Forged in Steele is a contemporary romance novel. It is the seventh chapter in the KGI novel series. The book is written by Maya Banks. She is a US-based novelist of erotic romance, contemporary romance, romantic suspense, and also Scottish historical romance. In bed with a Highlander is the best book by the author. If you like the first recommended book then you must also try her Never Seduce a Scot novel which is equally as good.

This chapter is narrated by Adam Paul. He comes as a changed narrator and for the first time in the series. The change of narrator was not warranted as it detracted the audience from the actual flow of the series. You will be experiencing all the familiar characters sound so different in the new voice in this novel. However, there was nothing wrong with the voice or overall narration of Adam Paul.

The Kelly Group International or KGI is a top-secret, super-elite family-run business. Steele was the team leader of KGI and he was an enigmatic person within his team. All of his emotions were always tight down quite deep and there was nothing in the world that could break the icy exterior.

only exception was Maren Scofield. She was a brilliant doctor who was on a mission as well. She was someone who has been able to get under the skin of Steele and threatens him a lot for cracking the unflustered cool which he is known for.

This is a very interesting tale. You will love the character of Steele who portrayed all the strong emotions that one could. In the end, he was a very good hero.
