Ruby is an NYT and USA Today bestselling author, a self-proclaimed expert of writing dirty things. She writes about sexy barbaric aliens, domineering bikers, and grumpy shifters.
Noelle Bridges and Jeremy York are the two narrators of this audiobook. What’s best about them is that they suit the characters they are meant to represent. Noelle was wonderful as Emma and Jeremy also did justice to his character.
Emma Arroyo knows that the big and golden dragon, captured by her brother’s biker gang is in trouble, and it is all because of her. He followed her scent and this created trouble for him.
Emma decides to fix this immediately. If only she could talk to the dragon, they could come up with a plan and escape together. However, the mind of a dragon is filled with uncontrollable rage. There’s no reasoning with such a character.
Under such circumstances, there’s no freeing him. Unless he is willing to cooperate, he will suffer this fate. But Emma knows she can’t leave without him. Thus, she decides that she will mate with him. When she approaches him to claim him as hers, she’s above her head. She has yet to learn how fierce a drakoni male can be.
This is another excellent addition to the already-phenomenal series. Ruby does a good job of bringing the audience up to speed about the character of Emma without wasting time in long backstories.
