Fear Me

Fear Me is the first book in the Broken Love series. It is a contemporary romance book authored by B.B. Reid. It isn’t your average hate-to-love romance story. Reid is a fantastic storyteller who has written many novels. This one right here is one of her most well-known novels. You can also check out The Peer and the Puppet written by her. Besides that, you can listen to The Punk and the Plaything.

Ava Erickson is a great narrator for the genre of this book. She has a soft and charming voice that suits the main character well. furthermore, her male voice isn’t bad either, to an extent that it doesn’t distract from the storyline.

This novel starts with Lake and Keiran. Keiran hates Lake in this story with a purpose. It isn’t your typical forbidden love story. This is an obsession at its darkest point. These people don’t believe in fairytales. Lake doesn’t expect a Prince Charming to come anytime soon. All she knows is fear, who Keiran taught her well.

They met on a playground for the first time in their life. It was a wonderful summer day. He hurt her badly, and it wasn’t going to be the first and last time he hurt her. It continues for the next 10 years. He is the tormentor and she gets tormented. But then, he leaves her, and she remains afraid. In the end, he comes back. He wants revenge and knows how to get it.

This book will suck you in and keep you invested in all the other novels in the series. You will love Keiran, Lake, and all their friends. There are some insanely hot sex scenes in this too, which makes the novel all the better.
