Fair Game

Fair Game is a romance and paranormal urban fantasy book authored by Patricia Briggs. It is the third installment in the Alpha and Omega series. It is about Anna, who never knew werewolves existed until she survived a violent attack. That was the point she became one herself. Anna spent years at the bottom of the pack but eventually discovered that she was a rare kind of werewolf – Omega. Patricia has been writing fantasy since 1993. She is the author of the famous series Mercy Thompson. Moon Called is the first book in that series. If you haven’t been caught up with the Alpha and Omega series, then you need to check out Cry Wolf.

Holter Graham is brilliant as the narrator of this book. He gives a unique voice to every character by varying his voice and inflection. There are no sounds of breathing in this recording, which can be annoying at times.

Charles Cornich is a dominant alpha, the son of the leader of the North American werewolves. Anna Latham is a unique werewolf in the sense that she can calm others of her kind, referred to as an Omega. They say that opposites attract, but in Anna and Charles’s case, they mate.

Now that werewolves are known to humans, they can’t have any bad publicity. Infractions need to be punished now. However, doing the dirty work of his father is taking a toll on Charles. However, Charles and Anna would need to team up as they have put themselves in the sight of a killer.

This book is a wonderful addition to the fantasy series. it is well written and the plot is unique to a certain extent. The dynamic of Anna and Charles is also interesting.
