Face the Fire is the ultimate chapter in Three Sisters Island Trilogy. This one is a contemporary romance novel which is beautifully written by Nora Roberts. There is hardly any author alive who could write romance better than Nora Roberts. Year One and The Choice are two of the very best novels that Nora Roberts has penned. The audio narration of Face the Fire is done by Sandra Burr and listeners loved every bit of it.
Mia Devlin knew what it was like to love someone with all might and heart, and then the next moment, just watch your love walking away. She and Sam many years ago shared a strong bond that was all built on passion, fate, and legend. But he fled away one day to the Three Sisters Island while leaving her completely lost within the memories of the magic that they had between them. He was fully determined then to live his life without love.
Sam was the new owner of the only hotel on the island and he made a return back to Three Sisters with the hope of winning his affection for Mia. He was puzzled when she greeted him with icy indifference which was all for the chemistry that was shared between them. It was quite sizzling chemistry and true as well.
Mia was hurt, angry, and extremely confused. She refused to admit in any way that some passion for Sam somehow still burns within her heart. But she would need his powers to face the most terrifying and greatest challenge ahead. Face the Faire is a well-written and well-crafted book. Sandra as the narrator did an outstanding job with excellent pacing and a variety of accents.
