Stephanie Plum thought she could avail some holidays after all the hard work that she has done in recent years. Her life has been busy and under the radar due to her missions which have allowed her to excel in her field. Now she is finally on a plane for a dream trip. Things don’t go according to plan because the passenger who was sitting next to Plum has vanished.
After a while, the missing passenger’s dead body is found in a garbage can and this surely was not good news for Plum because she too was included in the investigation. The FBI and the rest of the people investigating the case were actually worried about the picture which the man was carrying with him. The bad news for Plum is that she is the only one who has seen the picture in the hands of the man who has been killed.
Stephanie Plum must solve the case quickly because the killer might be planning to bring her down as well. She calls for the FBI sketch artist in order to recreate the picture that she saw in the hands of the man. A few pictures at the start only bring comic fun to this new book by Janet Evanovich.
After a while narrator, Lorelei King brings back the action to the story i.e the type which became the highlight of Wicked Appetite and Going Rogue. Stephanie Plum is running for her life which is not a new thing because she has faced such problems before, the main trouble is that her enemies are not clear in this one.
