Equalize: A Post-Apocalyptic LitRPG Audiobook
Gaia the spirit of the earth has become successful in freeing herself and finally, she is coming back. Well, that is not good news for the rest of the people living on the planet. Gaia knows one thing and that is complete domination so she is not just coming back rather she is coming to take control.
Ryan DeBruyn blends the old myth and the new thoughts in the series and the mixture look quite nice which paves the way for the further parts. Rocky i.e the main character is introduced as a boy who has lost a dear one recently. The boy used to go to Algonquin Park with his father for a drink whenever they get spare time but now his father is no more.
This means that drinking will appear painful to him from now on. Still, the boy goes to the same place so that he can get some time to relax and think about the memories in an isolated situation. It is Luke Daniels who narrates this sad condition of the boy in which he remembers the days he used to spend with his father.
While the boy is in a sad mood he witnesses the return of the Ether i.e the driving force of creation. With Gaia and Ether back in the world the life of the mere humans becomes tough all of a sudden.
