Emerge is the third book in the Salinity Cove novel series. This paranormal romance fantast novel is written by Maya Nicole. She is known for writing paranormal romance fantasy and reverses harem romance novels mainly. Creature of the Flame is an incredible novel that Maya Nicole has written. Another worthy title from the same author is Creature of the Sky. The audio narration of Emerge novel is done by Bridget Bordeaux and Jake Bordeaux. The duo performed reasonably well and that will for sure entertain you with any annoyance.
I thought that it was just all over. But, I was wrong to think that. My life over time had thrown me overboard literally. The worst fear that I had was that I wouldn’t be able to catch up with my breath at all. All of the people that I had always relied upon have betrayed me. And the ones that I should be scared or afraid of had become a lot more than what I could ever imagine.
Will it be possible for Blake, Jax, and Morgan to save me, or do I need to just save myself on my own? I was surrounded from all sides by water. In that situation, I only had two choices to make: Swim or Sink.
The book was just fine. The listeners had few issues with the character development. FMC throughout sounded silly with her poor decision-making skills. On top of that, the story has a few loose ends and some unanswered questions as well. The narration however stood as the strongest part of this book, despite being not close to perfection. At least that is one positive that you will take from this book.
