These “dungeon” stories are not for the kids because of the content which is added to them during every episode. The action just goes beyond our thoughts at the climax and the bloodshed cannot be digested by a kid in the house. Ryker is the main guy in this second book of the series. The young man thought that he would easily achieve everything which he wanted from life but it was not the case for him. Tragically Ryker gets stuck and is forced to do things that he thought he would not do in his life.
Firstly he is married to a girl who was supposed to be the daughter of the queen but it was not the case at all. The girl lied and this made the wedding possible which later resulted in big catastrophes for Ryker.
Count of Dungeon was also not an elite post for the young man at the point when the place was selected as a battlefield. William D. Arand added a few comic things in Monster’s Mercy: Book 2 and Super Sales on Super Heroes but such thing is not tried in this novel. It is a serious story on which the author works this one and he does not try to make the theme light at any point.
The situation of the main character with the queen becomes a painful experience for him but at the same time, he had to adjust too to save everything which becomes his responsibility. Narrator Andrea Parsneau has given more time to Ryker while narrating the novel but the narrator has not done injustice to the female characters either.
