Dream Maker is the first chapter in Dream Series. The book is a contemporary romance chapter and it is written by Kristen Ashley. She is the bestselling author of multiple books which have been translated into 14 different languages. She has international popularity where her Dream Spinner and For You novels have a good role to play.
Susannah Jones narrated this audiobook. The narrator seems to have a lisping issue which was quite prominent. Further, she was speaking as if she has got something in her mouth. This made a bad audiobook experience for the listeners.
Eve is believed to be a hyper-intelligent chick and a bona fide nerd. She was only able to rely on herself only. Therefore, when she decided to go for an engineering degree then she took a job at the Smithie’s Club as a dancer. She wanted to earn money for her tuition fees. She was not a good dancer. Then there was an alpha male bad guy there who was trying to become overly protective with her. This was the time when she realized that this job is not an easy thing to manage.
The guy was Daniel who knows what pain is but he wears an excellent mask. Nobody could tell that this handsome guy has so deep issues. Eve soon danced her way into his life and then he realized that he has to face his demons from the past if he wants her.
If you are a Kristen Ashley fan then this is a must-listen book for you. You will love it. The only big issue was with the awful narration, to say the least.
