Dominion of Blades

Since the dawn of the new era of computers and the concept of virtual reality, there are many authors who have tried to write about these new concepts. Though many have not succeeded in their attempts but then there are authors like Matt Dinniman who have made quite a name for themselves in this new field linked to virtual reality.

The story begins in the voice of Andrea Parsneau who introduces us to the primary characters first. The story is about a virtual reality game called the Dominion of Blades. The game became quite popular among the general public within days of its launching. People liked going into this imaginary world and fighting with swords.

The killing of the magical creatures was also so much fun till the game started developing some faults that were harmful to the players. So the government at once banned the game and people all over the world stopped playing the game. Jonah was also one of those who used to love the game. Then one day, Jonah wakes up in the game world and he has no idea how he came to that world.

The surroundings don’t give him a chance to think about everything because the enemies are coming from all sides. Jonah finds two other players who form an alliance with him and together they start a battle for survival. The Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook and The Butcher’s Masquerade could be other interesting books for the audience. Just don’t lose focus while listening to these stories because the mind of the listener tends to drift sometime because of the extra details.
