Devil’s Daughter

Phoebe has been living really sad moments of her life after the death of her husband. After having a pleasurable life with her husband for a few years she was once again thrown into the pit of sadness after his death. She has come back to her hometown and she thinks that finding hope and happiness might not be very easy for her.

One person whom she does not want to meet is West Ravenel. Although she has never met the individual she has heard that he used to tease her late husband when they were in boarding school together. The story is in continuation of Devil in Spring which Lisa Kleypas created for those who like romantic stories. Romance returns in the life of Phoebe when she meets a handsome and attractive man at a wedding. Though she tries to stay away from him her inward desire just keeps on getting more and more intense.

When she is introduced to the man, she gets surprised because he introduces himself as West Ravenel. West is not the same kind of many anymore because he too has suffered a lot in life and he is trying to change his life into a decent one. Mary Jane Wells keeps on narrating the charming meetings of this couple for a while and then their past starts to play a role in their current love life.

The families of these two individuals didn’t have a very good history together and these two have to bury those things as quickly as possible if they want to unite. Unlike A Wallflower Christmas this has a bigger family drama in it because the grudge that the families have for each other is really serious.
