The audio narration of Dark Minds novel is done by Christina Delaine. She was good but not excellent with her performance for the book. Imogen Peters knew that she was a pawn. She was abducted from Earth, kept n captivity, and was abducted again. When she got a chance at freedom, she grabbed the opportunity with both hands. But she didn’t realize that doing so would turn her into a kingmaker from a pawn.
Captain Camlar Kalor on his current mission was expecting to meet an Earth woman. He just thought that he would be meeting her on Larga Ways right under the protection of his Battle Center colleague. Instead, he and Imogen were both thrown together as prisoners within the hold of the Class 5 battleship. When he worked out that she was not the woman who ignited his mission, but just another abductee, Cam quickly realized that his investigation got a little more complicated. Meanwhile, the nations of the United Council took another step closer to war.
Imogen was quite out of her depth in that crazy mind game playing around her. She started to understand that her actions would lead to a massive impact on all the players. The romance in the science fiction setting of the subject book is amazing. The narration done in the third person would further enhance the experience of the listeners of this novel.
