Sean Crisden is a reliable narrator and his performance in the Dark Challenge audiobook has been quite entertaining. He will make you believe in the characters while you will find yourself deeply involved in the story throughout. Julian Savage was known to be powerful and golden. But, he was tormented as well. He was the one who used to walk all alone as a brooding hunter. He was far away and alone from his Carpathian kind. His existence just like his own name was quite savage. Things remained the same until he met with the woman whom he was determined and sworn to protect.
When Julian came to hear Desari singing then rainbows in the sky flooded his ravenous senses. There were lots of emotions coming out of his hardened heart. There was some sort of a dark hunger to have her and that flooded his loins. It blinded him to the risk of stalking him. Even when Desari reddened him, she risked defying him.
Dark Challenge is an action-packed book and Christine Feehan has done it so brilliantly. The book is fast-paced with an excellent storyline. It is a book for lovers and you will love it heard through the impactful voice of Sean Crisden. This book by all means is highly recommended.
