It is Christine Feehan who is once again with an astonishing story to tell the audience. Christine’s works in the past have been narrated by Phil Gigante and Natalie Ross so it was not a new experience for the two narrators. Again it was a male and a female which the two narrators had two narrate separately. One of the two characters is the awesome Zev Hunter who has been working to save mankind for centuries.

Rogue Lycans fear him because he is equal to death for them and when he comes to them he does not show mercy. Relations according to this warrior can result in weakness so he has not established any kind of relations ever. Still, there is one woman named Branislava who haunts the dreams of this warrior and he has been unable to comprehend her presence.

All of a sudden Zev finds himself in the sacred cave of warriors one day and he is amazed to see that the woman of his dreams was finally in front of him. She tells Zev that the time of his rebirth has approached and both of them are bound together in so many ways that she cannot explain in one breath.

However, after rebirth, Zev will be able to meet her but there are threats of certain changes in his body as well. According to some of the fans, Shadow Storm and Lightning Game are among the top books by Christine but this one should also get included in those top-ranked creations. The feelings of Zev at the time of his rebirth and during his stay in the cave are awesomely described by the author.
