Dante’s Immortality: Beginnings Audiobook
Aleria is a strange type of place where people don’t govern their destiny rather a goddess decides all of this for them. The goddess tells them or in simple words, she orders them which path they should choose for their future life. Once the thing is said then no one is allowed to raise any kind of objection against it.
For some, it is the time of starting a new and energetic life and for others, it is considered as a time of doom, well it all depends on what you are getting from the goddess. Dante has been living a terrible life for the past many years not because of the goddess but because of his mental condition. He does not remember anything related to his past life and he thinks that the goddess can help him in this troubling situation. [Dante’s Immortality: Beginnings Audiobook]
Author Antonio Terzini puts the life of the hero, in tough circumstances and his fate is dependent on the blessings of the goddess. If she refuses to help him or doesn’t provide him what he wants then Dante would have no other way except to commit suicide in desperation. Jeff Hays’ desperate style of narration tells us the inner feelings of the hero. [Dante’s Immortality: Beginnings Audiobook]
The audience through narration comes to know how mad Dante is from the inside to know about the purpose of his existence. This first part does not tell a lot about the past but there is a hope that more things about the past would be revealed in the coming parts of the series. There are even no long flashbacks, the author has tried to keep the story in the present only.
