Michelle Zauner has not only written this wonderful memoir she has also given it a wonderful voice which makes everything look more awesome. Usually, people hire other narrators to narrate their memoir which is not the right thing to do because other people cannot provide the true emotions in your memoir. The author is basically attached to the world of music and she happens to be a very good singer, writer, and guitar player. In this time of success, the author tries to remember her past and tells all of us how she finally landed in this world of fame.
It was basically her mother who told her everything about taste and culture. During the summer, the mother and daughter used to spend hours together at night and it was like the past generation was transferring her knowledge to the new generation with love.
Initially, Michelle started working in the restaurant industry and where she met her future husband too for the first time in her life after which the two started dating each other. The author was just twenty five years of age when her mother got the sad news that she was suffering from cancer. For Michelle, it was like a summons for damnation because she had never expected her life without her mother.
Now at a mature age, the author talks about all those things in a cool and calm manner which means that she has finally been able to tame her feelings. Unlike Beach Read and Happy Place this is not the love between two people of the same age rather it is love between two generations. One generation paves way for the other to thrive.
