Cry Wolf is the first chapter in Alpha and Omega novel series. It is a paranormal romance novel which is written by Patricia Briggs. She has inspired her followers with a good range of novels in the subject genre. You can check her Moon Called and Wild Sign novels for an excellent literary time. The narration of this Cry Wolf chapter is done by Holter Graham. The performance was beautiful where the narrator was able to produce different voices for the characters. This made the experience enjoyable and lesser confusing between the characters of the novel.
Anna had no idea about the existence of werewolves but everything changes don the night when she experienced something big. She survived a highly violent attack that night and then she became a werewolf. She remained at the bottom of her wolf pack for the first three years. She learned a lot about having her head down always and never look to trust any of the dominant males. But, Anna is an Omega. She is a special and rarest type of werewolf that one could be. She is also one of the most resourceful types of werewolves in the country. The entire territory would recognize and cherish her value of being an integral member of the pack.
The novel started quite well and then there was a dip in the middle of it. It recovered just in time or when the story was reaching its climax. It is an OK read. The listening experience however made the audiobook very tempting for the listeners. It is all thanks to Holter Graham for such a complete and soothing performance.
