Cosmos Raines has always been a high achiever and the things which he has invented are totally out of this world. However, no one expected that the “out of the world” situation will become true one day. Cosmos while working in his lab finally opens a door into another world which makes it possible for humans and aliens to visit each other’s world. The man had everything in his life as his inventions have turned him into a billionaire long ago but he was not able to find the right woman for himself all these years.
When Terra walks through the portal and enters Cosmos’ lab he thinks that he has found the girl of his dreams. Terra came from a world where women are hard to find and the few women that are present on the planet are secured by heavy guards. The planet has strong males and Terra’s brothers and father are among the strongest of those alphas.
An enemy wanted to marry Terra for some political gain because of which her father sent her through the portal to earth. Her father had negative thoughts about human males because he used to think that they are not warriors. When Terra’s father takes her back, Cosmos goes after them to prove that he surely deserves Terra more than anyone else.
S.E. Smith talked about extraterrestrial things in the novels such as Tracking Trisha and Ambushing Ariel, here the author has also opened a new door into a different kind of world. Don’t try to listen to this novel in haste because Suzanne Elise Freeman’s narration can be enjoyed in a better way when you give all your time to it.
