FEMA slave camp was the most terrible place in the universe because the slaves that entered that camp were never allowed to come out of it. Even the dead bodies of the slaves at FEMA were buried inside the camp. So no one knows who is alive in the camp and who has been turned to ashes. Cole and his friends were also thrown into that dark pit by their enemies but together the group was able to break the shackles.
A J Newman in the first part described the struggle of Cole and his group after which they were able to free themselves. Later Cole was given the option to marry any one of the three girls who were desperate about him. It was Gemma whom Cole selected as a mate. The team during the escape got injured and they decided to rest for a while so that they can get well enough to fight their enemies. Jack on the other hand still doubts Cole’s plans and thinks that he possesses better options in hand.
FEMA marches forward in search of new slaves for its personal goals and only Cole and his team stand in the way. Kevin Pierce and Sara Morsey have narrated this complex story of love and hate. The book has strong characters on which everything depends in the end.
