Cold Days are the 14th chapter in The Dresden Files series. This is a paranormal mystery thriller that is authored by Jim Butcher. If you are a fan of mystery thrillers then do give Jim Butcher a chance to entertain you with something extraordinary. Changes: The Dresden Files, Book 12 is one deserving novel of the author to mention here. Another book of the author to share with the fans and followers of Jim Butcher is his Dead Beat.
James Marsters is here for the narration of this book. He gave a top-notch performance and that helped in developing more interest of the listeners in this book and as well as this series.
After being killed by a mysterious assailant, finding his way through life and death, and then getting back again to the mortal world, Harry realized that death might not be all that bad. It was because he was not Harry Dresden anymore, who was the only pro wizard of Chicago. He became harry Dresden, Mab’s Winter Knight, who was the Queen of Darkness and Air.
After Harry Dresden was left with no choice but to swear over his fealty then Mab wasn’t about to allow something as petty as death would just steal away the prize which she had sought for quite a long time. Her word was then his command, no matter, whatever she wanted him to do, and no matter, wherever she wanted him to go.
The listeners here will get a lot more than what they expected and bargained for. Cold Days are one of the best novels in The Dresden Files series for sure, if not the best.
