Close Obsession is chapter two of The Krinar Chronicles which is a contemporary romance novel. The book is written by Anna Zaires. Anna is the bestselling author in the USA and writes dark erotic romance and science fiction romance stories. The narration of this chapter is done by Kitty Hendrix. She is way better than the narrator in the first book but you still couldn’t call it a great performance here. She was quite well with the female dialogues but struggled with the notes and inflections for male characters.
Lenakarda is regarded as the major Krinar colony on the face of the planet Earth. Mia is entirely at the mercy of Korum. She had absolutely no way to leave and has got no idea at all in operating the most basic of all the Krinar technologies. She is left with absolutely no choice but to think about trusting K who brought her there. He was her lover whom she betrayed.
Will he be able to bring her back home and keep his promise or will she stay to be his prisoner forever? Is it possible for some human to become any part of the actual Krinar society? Does Korum have any sort of love or emotional feelings for her or he is only interested in possessing her?
Close Obsession is a highly anticipated sequel after the great success and response of Close Liaisons. It is a superb book overall and highly recommended while keeping the narration issues aside.
