The narration of this novel is done by Khristine Hvam. It was a beautiful narration that made the characters sound so good and full of life.
The Barrani would be quite content to see her die. Kaylin was quite surprised at having her quite safe arrival at the West March. This was especially the case when the new and old enemies surrounded her and also those whom she identified as her friends, but they were equally dangerous.
The actual trouble starts after that. The assignment of Kaylin was for being a harmonsite who is the one that helps her with all the truth that was behind the Barrani Recitation. But, in the place where the words are found to be much more effective than any form of weapons, so duties of Kaylin there were quite deadly. The usage of the right phrase would allow her to tear people further apart. On the other side, the right phrases would have an opposite and effective impact. In such a situation, she might just be able to heal on a disfigurement over a race.
This novel picked up exactly from the point where the last one ended. The character development was handled quite well. On top of all this, you will thoroughly enjoy the powerful performance given by Khristine Hvam.
