Captain’s Fury

People of Alera have been painted in the first three parts to be using the power of the elements. Gaius when became the first lord of the kingdom he tried to use these powers and other potential of the land for peaceful purposes but he failed. The Vord is finally coming for the kingdom and the nation has to use the elementals for their protection in the battlefield. Jim Butcher showed many conspiracies building up in the kingdom in the past and here things become more complicated. There were people around that were apparently serving Alera with love in their hearts but it was all just a fake thing. As dangers rise from all sides the lord has to find some allies whether they are the old enemies he was once fighting against.

Great War description is there in this book narrated by Kate Reading in style. Whole series by Jim Butcher has been wonderful. This series is not like “Dresden Files” which had a lot of comic scenes in it, also it that series the story was moving in fragments while this one is in a continuing order. Storm Front and Peace Talks type of books can prove to be excellent piece of literature along with this book. Every book written by Jim Butcher attracts the fans with its description which is in detail all the time. The author does not give too much time to love stories in his creations because his main motive has always remained to go big in action. Because of this he keeps preparing the audience for war and not for any kind of true love.
