Burn for You

Burn for You is a fairy-tale fiction, contemporary romance book which is the first book of the Slow Burn series. It is authored by J. T. Geissinger. Geissinger has written more than twenty novels that have been received well. Her books have a touch of intense and edgy suspense. Sebastian York and Diana Luke made a good team to narrate this book. These are two strong voices as the leads in the novels. The book is also high quality so they had A-grade material to work with.

Jackson Boudreaux is gorgeous, rich, and rude to the Chef at a New Orleans restaurant. Bianca would rather douse herself in hot sauce than cook for that imbecile again. However, when he asks her to cater his fund-raiser, she can’t say no. The money would help in paying her mother’s medical bills.

Then, he comes up with another strange request: marry me. This one catches Bianca off-guard but it comes with an enormous sum of money. Thus, she can’t force herself to say no. Jackson, as the heir of the bourbon dynasty knows the rumors surrounding him. He wanted a wife so that he could secure his inheritance. Then, their simple deal evolves into an emotional mess because Jackson has built walls to keep people out. Bianca and Jackson don’t know anymore which feelings are for the show and which are fake. Is it a happy ending if you fall in love with your fake fiancée?

This is a sweet love story that stays in our minds and hearts long after we’re done reading it. The characters are written so well that we find ourselves rooting for them no matter what.
