Bully

Bully is chapter one of the Fall Away novel series. It is a contemporary romance novel. The book is written by Penelope Douglas. She is a romance novelist from the USA. She had written some strong novels such as Birthday Girl. Another brilliant novel from the author is Punk 57.

The narration of this chapter is done by Abby Craden. It was an OK performance. You might find her inflection at times to be a little distracting and off-putting.

I am known by the name of Tate. But, he doesn’t call me by that name. He would hardly talk to me. But, he wouldn’t leave me alone. We were the best friends once in our lives. Then he turned his back on me and his mission then was to ruin my life. I have been humiliated, gossiped, and shut out during all our time in high school. All of his rumors and pranks got too bad to worse with time. I was away for one year in Europe. It was all for avoiding him. But, I am all done with the hiding with him now. There is absolutely no way that I would allow him to ruin one more year from my life. I am just not ready to give him that much space in my life. It is because he might not have changed from before. But, I have changed. It is my time to fight back with him. And, I will stand for myself.

The story of this novel is quite predictable. You wouldn’t find any sort of witty kind between the two main protagonists. The narration was also somewhat off-putting.
