When you take an action there is always some kind of consequences which you have to bear. Some face those consequences and become legends while others collapse. Tao Wong knits strong stories with a background that is fully charged up. Council has reigned supreme over the galaxy for centuries and it has its eyes well set on the earth. No one knows why the council wants the earth but the target is well set now.
John Lee has tried to save the earth but his actions have only enhanced the anger of the council that’s all. Here the Galactic Council has finally decided to invade the earth and everyone is pointing at John Lee. Because of his actions, the aliens are not ready to forgive the people of the earth now. John thought that he had friends that would help them but his assumption was wrong.
Now the allies he is left with are of no use against the force which is coming towards the earth. The choice which is in front of the man is difficult and he is left with no other way. He has to break the Council i.e get rid of it when he still has the time. Once the invasion starts then there would be nothing left for anyone to save.
Nick Podehl’a narration has taken it equal to the standards of The Guild’s Demands and Forbidden Zone. This is the last opportunity that is depicted by the author for the people of the earth. The one who is standing for all of them is not praised as a hero but he is determined to do the impossible for the sake of humanity.
