Breathless is a contemporary romance novel. It is the 10th chapter of The Steel Brothers Saga. The author of this novel is Helen Hardt. The narration of this book is done by John Lane, M. Hendley, and Lauren Rowe. Majorie Steel is still going through the healing phase from all the different events of the last year. She is quite happy with all her plans to be put on hold about studying culinary arts. At this time, she wanted to help her best buddy deal with a very complicated pregnancy and also with the couple of troubled boys whom she recently adopted. It was quite a benefit with the fact that Bryce Simpson spends a good amount of time at the Steel Ranch. She is ready to see if the attraction towards him would lead to something more.
Bryce is then offered an executive position on the Ranch with a profit share. Things changed soon afterward.
The book was fine overall but too short. At times it felt a bit rushed and somewhat repetitive too. The ending was a bit abrupt, which could have been better. The audience was expecting a lot more for the long wait they had to do after a successful chapter nine of the series.
