The world of Nalini Singh is not like the average fantasy world which is observed in routine books rather it is different. This world which the author came up with in Archangel’s Kiss and Angels’ Blood was not only different and new but it was captivating too. The allurement in the love scenes can capture the attention of listeners very quickly and then the hot stuff just continues to flow.
The novel gets started in the voice of Angela Dawe as the audience is informed that valuable research has been kidnapped. The researcher was on to something big when he was abducted and it seems that the captor wants some valuable information from the researcher after which he would be eradicated. DarkRiver sentinel Mercy and SnowDancer Lieutenant Riley are hired to track down the researcher before it is too late.
If they fail in the mission then there is a threat that the villain might come up with something big later on. In the middle of the story, the two also realize that a big conspiracy is going on behind their back and they might end up dead meat too eventually. So the two have to take care of their survival as well along with the newly developed love between them.
The enemy has planned to perfection and Mercy along with Riley has to find the weak link or everything would be over within no time. No one is helping this couple who is on its own till the end of the story. The story has spice and bloodshed on a few occasions so just wait with patience and fun is guaranteed in every chapter.
