Blue Lily, Lily Blue

Maggie Stiefvater is known for her excellent fantasy and fiction novels in the Young Adult category. The best of the best novels coming from the author are The Raven Boys and The Raven King. The Blue Lily, Lily Blue is a romantic novel in the YA League. It is the third chapter in The Raven Cycle novel series. Will Patton continues to be the narrator after his powerhouse performance in the second chapter of the series. That made the listeners excited about this audiobook.
The story in this novel starts with the Blue Sargent who has discovered the things. She has friends now whom she could trust easily. This has happened in her life for the first time. She could find herself belonging to this new group now. The Raven Boys have also taken Blue Sargent as their own. They are sharing each other problems. All that feels so good.

But, there is also a trick with the found things. They could also be lost very easily. This doesn’t just end here. The friends could also betray. The mothers could vanish as well. Some visions could mislead you. On top of that, the certainties could unravel as well. All this might not end up that well with the Blue Sargent.
The subject novel is a good one that wouldn’t work as a standalone one. You need to go through the prior two chapters or at least the second one to get all the context and background. Doing so will probably excite you a lot about this novel, which is well written by Maggie. The performance by Will Patton is extraordinary as well.
