Blood of Heroes is a science fiction novel. It is the third title in The Ember War novel series which is written by Richard Fox. He is an excellent writer of military science fiction and space opera. Some of his novels are also billed as a thriller and military history. If you want to know about the best work of the author then go with his Tera Nova Chronicles: Publisher’s Pack. Another superb example of his great work can be found in Exiled Fleet: Publisher’s Pack 2.
The audio narration of Blood of Heroes novel is done by Luke Daniels. He performed his heart out in this one. His voicing for every person and even alien was just so perfect in this.
The story in this book is of a peaceful planet that was in search of a miracle. It was needed to survive an onslaught from the aliens of another planet. It has got the Strike Carrier Breitenfeld.
A galaxy-wide kind of scourge of the deadly drones was known as The Xaros. Those were the ones who had their eyes all set on the Taken planet. Captain Isaac Valder in that situation volunteered himself, rather than his ship so that the innocent civilians of this planet could be defended. The need was to evacuate everyone there or whatever he could do in his capacity. The Breitenfeld was pressed hard by some alien fleet in space and there was a terrifying enemy on the surface. So, Breitenfeld must look to risk each and everything to protect the people at grave risk.
The author and narrator make a very strong combo and this novel came out to be so much enjoyable. The audience wants more of these from this author-narrator combo.
