Blood Brothers

Blood Brothers is the first chapter of the Sign of Seven novel series. It is written by Nora Roberts who is known for writing some gripping romance and paranormal romance stories. The Awakening novel made a lot of fans of the author. The same was the case with the Come Sundown novel that is also written by Nora Roberts.

Phil Gigante narrated it. It was a good performance overall, except being a little bit cheesy at times.

It is just the month of February only when Caleb Hawkins, the descendant of the founders of the town has felt the mixings of evil. Though, he is not able to forget about the starting of the terror in the forest, which was all 21 years ago. The signs this time have never been much stronger than before. The call will require the help of the best friends of Gage and Fox. However, he must also rely on a stranger.

Quinn Black, the reporter came to the Hawkins Hollow and expecting to make all of the spooky things the topic of her new writing venture. She was able to see the evil which the locals weren’t able to see, which somehow links her to the town and also to Cal. As spring approaches, they would go on to shed their reserves. They would surrender to a desire which would not only grow but also form the foundation of a group of men and women. It will be a group that is bound by the fight against what is expected to come out of the darkness.

This is a nice light romantic novel. It lacked depth in the plot and characters. But, it is still good for light entertainment.
