Blood is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the fourth installment in Scales ‘N’ Spells novel series. It is written by AJ Sherwood and Jocelyn Drake. They are both fantastic with the writing of science fiction novels and particularly this Scales ‘N’ Spells novel series. Another fantastic title from the series is Scales ‘n’ Spells: Breath and Wish. Moreover, Embers is another fascinating novel from the same series and the same author duo.
The audio narration of Blood novel is done by Joel Leslie. This was a very solid performance and you will enjoy every bit of it. Secret identities are always very hard to keep intact oneself.
Sora was able to discover that to be completely true especially after meeting the Burkhard Clan that was struggling a lot. Same were the feelings after meeting with the mischievous Ravi. His breath all of a sudden was stolen by the wind dragon along with his heart as well. Sora suspected that he probably had discovered his mate.
But, it was all about his inability to be truthful with Ravi. When there was an attack made by Jaeggi then Sora was in no position to keep any of his secrets any longer. Not even at the time when Ravi was in the middle of the war that was raging all around him. He had to reveal his identity. It seemed to be the only possible way to be with Ravi and to provide the Burkhards with all of the support that they needed. Blood is an engrossing story of the greatest kind. This is arguably the best chapter in the subject series.
