Beneath the Truth is the seventh chapter of the Beneath novel series. It is written by Meghan March. She has been a superb writer of romance. Black Sheep is a contemporary romance novel from the author that will make a fascinating read. Another good one from the lot of Meghan is her Dirty Billionaire Trilogy.
The book has a dual POV in the narration which is done by the duo of Andi Arndt and Sebastian York. They have paired up several times before and their pairing works every time, including this chapter as well.
I was always of the opinion that there are a few lines in your life that you must never cross. You don’t have to lie. You don’t have to cheat. You don’t have to steal as well. All this was my opinion until I came to learn that people rarely practice stuff that they preach. I turned in my gun and my badge. Soon, I walked away from everything I had. Then I received a call that nobody in this world would like to have. It took me back to New Orleans.
I wasn’t expecting her to be there as well. It is yet another line that one should not cross. You must not touch the little sister of your best friend. She is the one who is always off the limits.
Beneath the Truth can be referred to as a standalone novel. It is also the final chapter in the Beneath series which brings it to a captivating end.
Beneath the Truth is nothing short of a home run for Megan March. It is packed with some great drama, angst, passion, sex, twists, turmoil, and suspense.
