He had no thought about any challenging of the order which for 1000 years has kept the earth prisoner to Psychlos, an alien race.

The Psychlos along with the huge intergalactic mining corporation had exploited and completely dominated all of the known galaxies over the past few centuries. They destroyed multiple races ruthlessly who showed resistance of any level.

The Battlefield Earth was the bestseller in New York Times. The story is great fun. You might find it slightly old-fashioned but still, it is extremely enjoyable.
