Archangel’s Heart is the ninth chapter of the Guild Hunter. It is a paranormal romance book. The author of this novel is Nalini Singh. She did quite well in this series with many good novels that made a good fan following for herself. There are a few other novels from Nalini that you must try. A couple of those are Angels’ Blood and Alpha Night.
The narration given by Justin Eyre is fantastic in this novel. She ensured that every character and the entire storyline comes alive with this one.
In this time, the fiercest of all the archangels has disappeared. No one had any idea if Lijuan is dead or alive. He might have decided to go for his long sleep that is a thing for an immortal. But, nobody knows it. However, a weird and old order of angels called Luminata summoned the whole Cadre together. This was a thing when the lands of Lijuan start getting into chaos under the shadow of the bloodlust of the vampires. So, the agenda now is to the future of her territory.
Elena, the guild hunter turned angel believes that all is not well. She was accompanied by Raphael, her archangelic lover to the compound of Luminata. Many secrets were coming in from all side of the walls of the compound. The uglier the darkness was getting, the deeper Elena goes into it. But, she along with Raphael is not ready at all for all those truths that were hidden in it.
It is has a slow start. So, if you are through the first few chapters then this novel will become a roller coaster ride. It has depth in the characters with a very fascinating storyline as well. The performance by Justine Eyre was fantastic.
