The story revolves around the characters of Vaughn and Lenora. They call Vaughn an angry god. But to Lenora, he is nothing but a jerk with a big mouth. He is a heartless prince who is breaking hearts, noses, and rules as time goes by. His parents rule the town since they own the police, the citizens, and every boutique on Main Street.

All that Lenora owns is a nice and juicy grudge against the guy who hurt her. He almost killed her. He hooks up with a different girl every weekend. But the time that he does find it, he makes sure to bully little old Lenora. She tries to fight back, but there’s only so much that she can do. But then, she leaves the place to go to London. And he follows her. Then there’s Carlisle, who knows the secrets of both. Vaughn thinks he can kill the past, but it’s her heart that he’s slaying.

This book has an amazing plotline and interesting characters. The protagonists are both deep and intriguing. It is hard to fathom the things they do sometimes. In that sense, they have been written with an air of realism.
