And One Last Thing… has been authored by Molly Harper. She is an amazing paranormal romantic comedy writer. She also has a flair for contemporary love stories. It is a novel that should be on the desks of all women that have been wronged one way or another in the game of love. Amanda Ronconi has done a phenomenal job as the narrator of this audiobook. She has captured the snarky and humorous nature of the author’s words. She has done justice to the wit of the author. For Lacey Terwilliger, there is life after divorce. She was married to a philanderer before. She uses her platform to announce her husband’s activities to his family, friends, and clients. It blows up in her face and she goes through rough times.
Lacey retreats to a lakeside cabin. She has to move away from all the drama and the chaos. She must take a breath, asshe has been wronged by everyone. Fate has it stored that she meets Monroe, an aggravated neighbor. He is not too excited about this divorced neighbor. It is nothing a few beers and time can’t solve. Soon, strike up a strong friendship. And then soon, the friendship grows into something more. Lacey is not sure if she wants to stay with this man who tells her what he thinks, not what she wants to hear.
This is an interesting story about divorce and revenge; topics that some may find a bit lousy as it is frequently depicted in romance books. Nonetheless, the book has unique elements that differentiate it from the pack.
