Always and Forever, Lara Jean

Always and Forever, Lara Jean is a contemporary romance novel. It is the third chapter of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before novel series. The novel is written by Jenny Han. She is a proficient American author who writes young adult fiction, contemporary romance and children’s fiction as well.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is her best work so far. This book was also adapted into a movie with the same title which was released in 2018. The Summer I Turned Pretty is another worthwhile novel which Jenny Han has written.

The narration of this chapter is done by Ali Ahn. This book was a disappointment as it wasn’t actually narrated by Ali Ahn as it is mentioned on the title. It was narrated by Lauren Knight-Keating who gave a very miserable and a disappointing performance.

The letter writing days of Lara Jean aren’t over which are continuing from the prequel of this chapter.

Lara is enjoying the best possible senior year that nay girl could ever dream for. She is found to be head over heels in love with Peter. Her da is also getting married again finally to Ms. Rothschild, who was their next door neighbor. Margot is also making a return home for the summer and that was just in time for the upcoming wedding. But, there is definitely some sort of change that is looming on the horizon.

Lara was having quite a good fun and was busy for the planning of her dad’s wedding. She also couldn’t overlook some of the really big life decisions that she has to take. The most prominent of all was about her selection of college to study. This was crucial as it may alter her relationship with Peter.

From the writing, plot and the characters perspective, everything about this novel is just perfect. The character of Peter is just so amazing and so well written as well. The narration of this audiobook was a big disappointment.
