Comic adventure fantasy by Brandon Sanderson starts here when Alcatraz comes face to face with the Evil Librarians for the first time. As a young boy, Alcatraz had no information about his parents and he had been living the life of a foster since the beginning. Then on his 13th birthday, he finally got a gift which was kept somewhere hidden by his parents.
The boy got so excited because he thought that he would get something wonderful but his hopes got shattered when he got a bag full of sand as the gift kept for him by his parents. He thought that it was like a joke but he realized that it was quite a valuable thing when the Evil Librarians snatched it from him.
The Evil Librarians were trying to take over the world and they needed that bag of sand in their mission. David Jourdan, Colleen Delany, Michael John, Zeke Alton, and many other narrators have narrated this book together here. In this first part, the author hasn’t told us anything about the skills of Alcatraz, and the only thing which we know about him is the fact that he is good at breaking things.
So with this one talent in hand, he is going to fight against the monsters in order to save the world. Listen to it because you are going to love it same as The Gathering Storm and The Eye of the World. The story is comic and the tragedies are also not very much scary so the kids can have a go at it as well. There comes a lot of occasions where you can laugh out loud at Alcatraz and his luck.
