When humans were technologically able to move from one planet to the other within the minimum time they made the solar system their colony.

Going to the moon or Mars was not a problem for humans and they also made ships that were keeping an eye on the rest of the planets and also on the Asteroid Belt. Even with all that technology and advancement, the humans were not aware that what the alien race was doing on Venus. The aliens were actually planning something big and they had been busy with the creation of the artifact for a long time.

Now the device was completely ready so the aliens came to Uranus’ orbit and here they set up a huge gate that leads to darkness apparently. No one knows the purpose of the gate and humans on earth make several assumptions about it. Some think that the artifact will bring prosperity to humans while there are those who think that destruction is on its way. Jim Holden decides to take a closer look but he wasn’t expecting that the danger was present right at the corner.
