A New Hope

A New Hope is the 8th chapter of the Thunder Point novel series. It is written by Robyn Carr. She is the number one bestselling author in NYT. As many as 50 of her novels have appeared in the list of New York Times. If you have to try one novel from the author then it has to be her Virgin River for all of its class writing and quality narration. Shelter Mountain is the second-best pick from the literary archives of Robyn Carr.

The narration of this chapter is done by Therese Plummer. She had narrated plenty of novels that are written by Robyn Carr and you will never get tired of her. Her voice seems unique, fresh, and engaging every time which is the same case with this novel.

Starting over has never been an easy task. But, Thunder Point is a place where friends become family and the newcomers are also welcome. It is always a possibility here to rediscover yourself.

Ginger Dysart lost her child and she was in a lot of grief. But, after moving to Thunder Point, Ginger Dysart could finally see her way forward in life. Her new job at a flower center is quite fulfilling and peaceful. She is excited about her next assignment as an assistant with the Lacoumette wedding. This is where the story takes a new turn.

Robyn Carr must have been in a very wordy kind of a mood when she wrote this novel, A New Hope. It is because the novel had a lot of ‘telling us’ kind of stuff rather than showing us. It has too much dialogue between the two main characters. If Therese Plummer was not there with the narration then it could have been a very difficult listen.
