A Hidden Fire is a contemporary paranormal romance novel. It is the first book in the Elemental Mysteries novel series which is written by Elizabeth Hunter. She has been on the bestselling list of USA Today ten times. She is known for writing contemporary fantasy, romance, and paranormal mystery novels. Building from Ashes is a very strong novel that Elizabeth Hunter has written. The same could also be said about The Bone Scroll novel of the author.

The audio narration of A Hidden Fire novel is done by Dina Pearlman. It was a horrible performance and became a highly annoying listen with the strong nasal tones of the narrator.

No secret could remain hidden for good.  A regular phone call coming from an old friend triggered Giovanni Vecchio, a mysterious book researcher back on the way to a mystery. It was something that eluded him for quite a few centuries. There was very little that he suspected of a very young librarian holding the key leading to an ancient secret. On top of that, he also couldn’t expect that the danger Beatrice de Novo would simply attract. Both of them would follow after a twisted maze then which would lead from the rich archives of a university library through the fires of Renaissance Florence. Eventually, it would result in a passion that could easily destroy both of them.

Elizabeth Hunter is a clever writer and you will find this trait in A Hidden Fire novel of the author. Everything is good about this book but with the only exception of poorly done narration. The subject title 2012 was the semi-finalist in 2012 for Best Indie Books.
