Finally, the trilogy approaches the finale after the wonderful performance of the first two parts. The first two parts of the series by V.E. Schwab were magical in every aspect. Books such as A Darker Shade of Magic and A Gathering of Shadows set such a high standard in quality that it was tough for the author to keep the final book on the same level.
Not only Schwab has kept it on the same level but the author has decorated it further with superb speeches by strong characters. Magic reaches its peak in the story and there are troubles at every corner for the main characters. The author has kept both sides in the story busy and everything gets concluded in the end. So those who are desperate have to wait till the last chapter for the final disposition of everything and everyone. The book is not written on the usual routine in which each chapter of the final part ends one thing and then it moves on to the next one.
