Fluke and the Faithless Father is the second installment in The Fantastic Fluke novel series. This science fiction and fantasy novel is written by Sam Burns. He has proved himself as a good storyteller where you can multiple performances to back that statement. One such good novel from the author is Cold Moon. Moreover, you will also have a very good time listening to the audio version of his Captured novel.
The audio narration of this book is done by Zachary Johnson. It was a well-crafted performance that the listeners will fully enjoy. After managing to escape from a murderer and then saving his boyfriend, Sage realized that he deserves some time to recover. But unfortunately, life was rarely fair to him. Instead of having a time out, he got to deal with an enchanted law enforcement rookie who asked plenty of uncomfortable questions. Those questions were related to his brush with death. The interrogator there was acting quite suspiciously.
Things turned quite dangerous from being awkward only. All that happened when the man who killed the mother of Sage was released from captivity. Soon, there was a break-in case at the bookstore. The situation got worse so quickly that Sage was afraid that he would eventually end up with the whiplash. Even worse, he could end up dead. He wanted to have a break there but that wouldn’t be a permanent one at all.
This is an excellent book with a superb continuation to the story that started in the first chapter of the series. The performance by Johnson added great emotion to the characters which will inspire the listeners. The book for all these reasons is highly recommended
