Treason in the North is a teen & young adult novel. It is the fourth installment in the Path of the Ranger novel series which is written by Pedro Urvi. He is the bestselling writer of fantasy novels. He started writing just as an experiment and that proved to be a huge success. So, he had every reason to pursue a career in writing seriously. He offered us novels as good as The Great Council and The King of the West.
The audio narration of Treason in the North is done by John Banks. The narration was done pretty well. There was a multitude of characters in this novel but still, you wouldn’t experience any mix-up of voices throughout the narration. King Uthar was there who was defeated badly within the Frozen Continent. He was badly wounded and he retreated to Norghania so that he could manage to regroup his army and eventually shield himself right behind the strong walls of the capital.
Lasgol along with his companions would try hard to pass on the last of the instruction and graduate on their deserving merits as Rangers. To do that, all of them had to become part of extremely difficult and dangerous missions. Those missions were meant to aid the king against all of the invaders or any such threats. The companions there were divided and they must opt between Darthor or king and the Rangers, and the Western League. But remember, supporting Darthor would be considered treason and they might need to pay for it with their lives if they get caught.
This is a fantastic chapter from a fantastic series, which might start to grow in you. The author and narrator both deserve to be credited for their respective contributions to this audiobook.
