Raptor is the sixth chapter of the Dragon Blood novel series. It is a science fiction and fantasy novel which is written by Lindsay Buroker. The author is a good talent with the writing of steampunk, science fiction, fantasy, and adventure novels. Patterns in the Dark novel is a very good example of her work. The Blade’s Memory is another worthy novel from the author which deserves your attention.
The audio narration of Raptor is done by Caitlin Davies. It will be a great pleasure to experience her voice and the way she brought the characters to life.
Lt. Caslin Ahn was the one responsible for the death of her friend. She wanted to have nothing more from her life or anyone else other than to be left all alone there.
She thought to be no longer deserving the company of the comrades or perhaps the fulfillment that she felt in the capacity of a fighter pilot of the Wolf Squadron. But, the summons coming from the king completely left her with absolutely no choice, but to become part of her team once again.
An ancient evil was unleashed who brought destruction and death to the nation that was seeking peace for a long. That particular team seems to be the only hope for stopping all that bad from happening. That appeared to be a very tough task at first but it was certainly not impossible at all.
The series is stunning but there are a few loopholes in this novel. But, this doesn’t mean that the book is not worth your time. Overall, it is a pretty decent book and an important one in the series.
